Hello Bard AS ("we", "us") publishes the mobile game The Sculptor ("the Game"). This policy explains what data is collected when you play, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We have designed the Game to collect as little as possible: we do not run our own analytics and we do not maintain our own user accounts or servers. The only data leaving the device is what is required to (a) show ads and (b) provide platform game features (leaderboards/achievements) — both handled by the third parties described below.

1. What data is collected and why

a) Advertising — Unity Ads & Google AdMob (via Unity LevelPlay)

The Game displays ads served by Unity Ads and Google AdMob, delivered through the Unity LevelPlay mediation SDK. To serve and measure ads — including personalized (interest-based) ads — these ad SDKs collect and process the following from your device:

DataExamplesPurpose
Advertising identifiersGoogle Advertising ID (Android), IDFA / IDFV (iOS)Serve and measure ads; ad personalization
Device & connection infoDevice model, OS version, language, IP addressAd delivery, fraud prevention
Coarse / approximate locationCountry/region derived from IPAd targeting and compliance
Ad interaction dataAd impressions, clicks, views completedAd measurement and personalization

This data is collected by Unity and Google acting as independent controllers and is shared with them for advertising purposes. We do not receive or store this data ourselves. See their privacy policies: Unity · Google

Consent & control. Personalized advertising in the EEA/UK is shown only after you consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) — a certified Consent Management Platform whose prompt appears before any ads load. You can review or withdraw consent at any time via the in-app Privacy options button (where applicable) or your device settings.

Personalized ads & tracking. Because ads are personalized, this constitutes "tracking" under Apple's rules. On iOS the Game shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; if you decline, ads become non-personalized. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings.

b) Game services — Google Play Games (Android) & Apple Game Center (iOS)

If you sign in, the Game uses Google Play Games Services (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS) to provide leaderboards and achievements.

DataExamplesPurpose
Player IDYour Play Games / Game Center player identifierIdentify you to the leaderboard/achievement service
Game progressScores (taps), achievement completionSubmit to leaderboards / unlock achievements

This data is processed by Google or Apple under their privacy policies. Sign-in is optional — if you do not sign in, leaderboards and achievements are simply unavailable and no player data is sent.

c) What we do not collect

2. Legal bases (EEA/UK – GDPR)

If consent for personalized ads is not given, non-personalized (contextual) ads are shown instead.

3. Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in some EEA jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Personalized advertising and the advertising identifiers above are not appropriate for children's audiences. If the Game is ever listed in a children's/Families category, personalized ads must be disabled and ad SDKs configured for child-directed treatment.

4. Data sharing & international transfers

Data described above is shared only with the third parties listed (Unity, Google, Apple) for the stated purposes. These providers may process data outside your country, including the United States, under their own safeguards. We do not sell your personal data. Under US state laws (e.g. CCPA/CPRA), sharing of identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "share"; you can opt out via the in-app/device controls described above.

5. Data retention

We do not store your personal data on our own systems. Retention of advertising and game-service data is governed by Unity, Google, and Apple respectively.

6. Your rights

Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Because we do not hold your data ourselves, exercise these rights primarily through:

7. Security

Data in transit between the Game's third-party SDKs and their servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game changes (for example if ad mediation or new features are added). Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
